Looking back at the evening "Everything HR doesn't dare say" - Part 2/2

On 8 October 2026, skeeled, myHR, Alleyesonme.jobs and Pixie brought together many HR professionals around an interactive HR panel in Luxembourg. Between networking and photocall, a look back at the second part of the evening.

After the panel, the walking dinner allowed the panel discussions to continue in an informal setting, among participants, speakers and organisers.

The photocall captured the encounters between clients, prospects and the teams from skeeled, myHR, Alleyesonme.jobs and Pixie.

The format was well received and could be repeated, although no decision has been made at this stage.

An HR evening is not played out on stage alone. After the interactive panel (see the photos and the report in our first article), the participants of the event organised by skeeled, myHR, Alleyesonme.jobs and Pixie continued the evening with a walking dinner. The aim: to exchange among professionals who share the same on-the-ground realities in Luxembourg.

An HR walking dinner in Luxembourg to extend the discussions

‍

The conversations picked up where the panel had left off. Participants returned to the topics raised earlier in the evening, from employer branding to artificial intelligence, as well as onboarding and talent retention. The standing format, with no imposed seating, encouraged spontaneous encounters and allowed everyone to approach people they had not yet met.

‍

Many conversations also took place with the speakers, Zach Traer, Head of Recruitment Services at skeeled, Isabelle Monties, Human Resources Director at Groupe Costantini, Magali Panozzo, Human Resources Manager at LuxConnect and LuxProvide, and Chantal Trausch, HR Consultant at SparkleHR, as well as with the moderator Yasmine Zarrab from Cap4 Group. Participants could ask more personal questions, compare practices and share real-life examples, without the constraint of speaking time, before posing in front of the photocall to capture the evening.

HR networking rooted in the reality of the Luxembourg market

‍

This emphasis on meeting people is far from trivial in such an international country. According to the employment dashboard published by the IGSS, Luxembourg had 535,771 people in employment in March 2026, including 238,396 cross-border workers, or more than 44% of the total. HR teams therefore have to deal with very varied profiles, languages and professional cultures, which makes exchanges between peers particularly valuable.

‍

The context also remains demanding. ADEM data, published in October 2026 on the Luxembourg government website, show 20,269 registered resident jobseekers at the end of September, 7.1% more than a year earlier, with an unemployment rate of 6.5%. HR professionals are thus faced with the challenges of recruitment, support for career transitions and employee retention all at once.

‍

In this context, the opportunity to compare practices, to meet colleagues from other sectors and to meet the people who design the HR tools used every day was one of the evening's main strengths. The teams from skeeled, myHR, Pixie and Alleyesonme.jobs, for their part, were able to talk directly with their clients and prospects in an atmosphere of trust.

‍

A first format that was well received, towards a next edition?

‍

This first evening achieved its objectives: topics chosen by the participants themselves, an interactive panel fuelled by live polls and ample networking time. Participants praised both the dynamism of the discussions and the closeness to the speakers.

‍

Will a second edition take place next year? Nothing has been decided for now, but one thing is certain: the desire to keep bringing together HR professionals in Luxembourg around concrete topics, chosen by them, remains very much alive among the four organisers.
